The safety and security of all guests, staff, and event participants is a top priority for Middlesex County. To help ensure a safe environment, all visitors are required to comply with the following event policies and security procedures.

All persons and personal belongings entering a Middlesex County event venue are subject to inspection. Guests are encouraged to bring only essential items.

Middlesex County reserves the right to deny entry or remove anyone who violates event policies, breaks the law, or uses offensive language and gestures, and prohibits any item deemed unsafe, disruptive, or unlawful.

Individuals found in possession of prohibited weapons or dangerous items may be denied entry, removed from the premises, or referred to law enforcement, and items may be confiscated:

Prohibited Items/Weapons Policy

Weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited inside Middlesex County venues and facilities. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Firearms
• Knives or blades of any kind
• Tasers or stun guns
• Pepper spray or mace
• Explosives, fireworks, or pyrotechnic devices
• Illegal drugs and substances
• Flasks or outside alcohol containers
• Signs, flags, or banners not approved by event staff
• Selfie sticks, tripods, or monopods
• Chains or spiked accessories
• Noisemakers of any kind
• Any item deemed by venue staff or event organizers to be a potential safety, security, or operational concern

Bag Policy

To expedite entry and maintain security standards:

• Backpacks are not permitted
• Bags larger than 14” x 14” are prohibited
• Guests are limited to one bag per person
• All bags are subject to search upon entry
