Transportation and Mobility 

The Transportation and Mobility Division oversees the planning, programming, and development of transportation projects, focusing on the safe and efficient movement of people and goods throughout the County. The County’s Vision Zero pledge is at the center of all County Road projects, with consideration given to all road users, in pursuit of the County’s goal of eliminating all traffic fatalities and serious injuries on County roadways by 2040. The Transportation and Mobility Division also works on various planning projects, such as electrifying the County’s fleet of vehicles and planning for electric vehicle charger installations, and planning for safety on County roads no matter how people choose to travel, including pedestrians, bicyclists and micro-mobility users in addition to motorists.
