Health & Wellness Council
Who We Are
The Middlesex County Health and Wellness Council was created in 2013 by the then named Middlesex County Freeholder resolution 13-969-R. In December 2018 the bylaws of the Council were approved by then named Board of Chosen Freeholders.
The mission of the Council is to provide a mechanism for a public-private venture to provide health fairs, screenings, and education on the health and wellness services available to County residents. The Council also supports the health priorities within the county and will work to develop policy recommendations and strategies.
The Council is comprised of representatives from municipal and county government, local businesses in the profession of wellness and health, local health care facilities, and community organizations.
