The Division of Visual and Performing Arts advocates for and advances the unique and vital role visual and performing arts play as essential pillars of healthy communities. The Division cultivates interdisciplinary, accessible, and innovative arts and cultural experiences for the benefit of Middlesex County residents and visitors. 

Our Activities

• Develop and maintain a network of public art resources and opportunities, including maintaining mapping inventories, public art guides, procedures, and best practices.
• Nurture and grow artist and arts and nonprofit resources, opportunities, and relationships.
• Work in tandem with partner organizations on the growth of innovative and accessible Arts Education and Arts & Health programs and events.
• Support and advocate for nonprofit and municipal-led arts programming throughout Middlesex County.
