Middlesex County has teamed up with QuestUpon app to enhance your experience visiting historical sites in Middlesex County.

The QuestUpon app features quests with a variety of missions, guiding you via interactive storytelling that combines gaming and augmented reality (AR). Our quests will take you back in time at some of the historic places in Middlesex County, and you can experience characters from the past in 3D AR.

What’s a Quest?

It’s a self-guided walking tour, and each stop along the way is a Mission. Quests feature 14–25 missions and are designed to be completed in 30–60 minutes.

Download the free app from the Google Play store and Apple’s App Store. 

Open the app when you are in Middlesex County and it will show all available quests near you. Middlesex County currently offers three quests:

• The Cornelius Low House
• East Jersey Old Town Village
• Uncovering Raritan Landing

The Low House and Raritan Landing quests are entirely outside and accessible to the public during park hours. The Village quest can only be completed when the Village is open.
