This opportunity, open to 501(C)3 non-profit corporations only, provides County Commissioner Support Grant funding to agencies providing social services to residents of Middlesex County.

ELIGIBILITY:
Applicants must have non-profit status and proper registration with the New Jersey Division of Law and Public Safety, Bureau of Charitable Registrations and fulfill all reporting requirements attendant thereto.
 
Federal tax-exempt status, pursuant to Section 501(c)3 of the United States Tax Code.
 
All licenses and certifications on a current basis, as issued by the state and local government, necessary for the operation of program services and facilities.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

Support Grant applications must be submitted no later than 11:59 pm (EST) on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, via https://middlesexcounty.smapply.io/prog/lst/    Hard copies, mailed, e-mailed or faxed applications will not be accepted or considered for funding.

The 2026 Commissioner Support Grant will commence January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026, via a contract, contingent on the acceptance of the County Budget in March 2026. 

**Middlesex County will have an option to extend the contracted services for two (2) additional years subject to the availability of funds and approval of the Middlesex County Board of County Commissioners, commencing January 1, 2027 – December 31, 2027, and January 1, 2028 – December 31, 2028.   Funding will also be based on the quarterly reports and monitoring outcomes.   No new applications will be viewed during this time.
