Middlesex County Prosecutor Linda Estremera and Chief Thomas J. Montagna of the Old Bridge Police Department announced today that a fatal pedestrian collision is currently under investigation.

On January 3, 2026, at approximately 1:25 A.M., Old Bridge Police Department responded to Route 9 South in front of the Quality Chevrolet. Upon their arrival authorities, discovered Davon Porter, 30, of New Brunswick, who was struck by a Honda CR-V, operated by a 30-year-old man from Manalapan while he was attempting to cross Route 9. Porter was pronounced deceased at the scene.
