Milltown Man Charged with Multiple Drug Charges and Other Offenses

Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone announced today, that a Milltown man was arrested and charged with drug offenses.

The Middlesex County Narcotics Task Force conducted an investigation into a Marijuana distributor identified as Steven Chevrier, 39, of Milltown. The investigation revealed Chevrier was distributing narcotics. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Chevrier and the seizure of approximately 889 grams of suspected marijuana, approximately 342 grams of suspected psilocybin, approximately 149 cartridges containing suspected THC oil, various packages containing suspected marijuana edibles, suspected THC wax, one scale, twenty-one packages of marijuana seeds, one pill press, three mushroom grow kits, one handwritten THC edible recipe book, and various narcotic packaging materials.

Chevrier was charged with one count of first-degree Maintaining and Operating Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) Production Facility, three counts of fourth-degree Possession of CDS, fourth-degree Distribution of Drug Paraphernalia, third-degree Money Laundering, third-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance, two counts of second-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance within 500 feet of a Public Property, third-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance on/near School Property, and third-degree Possession of CDS.

As is the case with all criminal defendants, the charges against Chevrier are merely accusations, and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
