Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Director Joseph Battaglia of the North Brunswick Police Department announce today that an arrest was made relating to today’s bomb threat at the Livingston Park Elementary School polling location.

Today, November 4, 2025, at approximately 08:15 AM North Brunswick Police Department began receiving several reports of a bomb threat at Livingston Park Elementary School via text message. North Brunswick Police officers responded to the location. With the assistance of explosive detection K-9 officers of the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department, the area was cleared to ensure no explosive devices were present.

An investigation by Detective Sean McCorry of the North Brunswick Police Department led to the identification of a juvenile suspect, who is a resident of North Brunswick. The juvenile was taken into custody by the North Brunswick Police Department and the electronic devices used in the threat were recovered.
