MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ – Middlesex County officials have been informed that, due to an active law enforcement investigation, Avenel Middle School will no longer be available as a polling location for today’s General Election. To ensure that all voters in the affected district can cast their ballots safely and without disruption, this polling location has been relocated to Woodbine Avenue Elementary School #23, located at 89 Woodbine Avenue, Avenel, NJ 07001.

Middlesex County recognizes that any change on Election Day may cause inconvenience and appreciates the public’s understanding. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution and with the highest priority placed on public safety. The County remains firmly committed to transparency and to ensuring that every eligible voter can participate in a fair, secure, and accessible election.
