Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Thomas J. Montagna of the Old Bridge Police Department announced today that a homicide /suicide is currently under investigation.

On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at approximately 11:42 A.M., authorities responded to Ticetown Road for a welfare check. Upon their arrival Old Bridge Police Department discovered Jamie A. Nowakowska, 63, of Old Bridge, and Nancy Misura, 54, of Old Bridge, deceased from apparent stab wounds. Nowakowska and Misura were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The matter is being investigated as a homicide /suicide pending the results from the autopsy.
