South Brunswick Man Charged with Criminal Sexual Contact of a Juvenile at a Movie Theater

Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Joseph Battaglia Director of the North Brunswick Police Department announced today that Nishith Koreka, 47, of South Brunswick Township, has been charged in connection with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Criminal Sexual Contact.

On September 7, 2025, Koreka was arrested without incident and charged with third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child and fourth-degree Criminal Sexual Contact of a juvenile.

An investigation led by Detective Christopher Van Eerde of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victim’s Unit and Detective Sean Gaither of the North Brunswick Police Department determined that Koreka inappropriately touched a juvenile, multiple times, while attending a movie at the Regal Commerce Center in North Brunswick.

As with all criminal defendants, the charges against Koreka are merely accusations and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
