MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ–On Tuesday, June 24, Middlesex County joined the Intelligent Transportation Society of New Jersey (ITSNJ) for the 2025 ITSNJ Research Showcase followed by a tour of DataCity Command Center—the County’s smart mobility lab located in Piscataway. The annual event brought together leaders in transportation technology, featuring research from Rutgers University, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), and Rowan University.

As part of the event, attendees had the opportunity to experience Middlesex County’s DataCity Command Center, showcasing the integration of autonomous and connected vehicle technologies. Additionally, the Rutgers Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation (CAIT) hosted a presentation led by Dr. Peter Jin and his students. Guests engaged in interactive demonstrations highlighting the latest research and innovations in transportation technology.
