MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ – On Thursday, April 11, the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office, led by Sheriff Mildred S. Scott, held a Promotion Ceremony at the Middlesex County Superior Court  to celebrate the achievements and leadership of several officers rising through the ranks.

The following officers were officially promoted during the ceremony:

• Captain Jefferey Williamson
• Lieutenant Matthew Barringer
• Sergeant Matthew Michals
• Sergeant Ralph Jacobs
• Sergeant Kenneth Brown
• Sergeant Joseph Morriale
• Sergeant Gerld Politi

Promotions within the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office follow a structured rank system: Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Chief, Undersheriff, and Sheriff.
