Scotts Corner Conservation Area is a small portion of a large tract of preserved land in South Brunswick and Plainsboro Township. Middlesex County began acquiring the farmland from the Boyko Family in 2003. Here you will find more than 150 acres of wet meadows, shrublands, and forests dominated by beech and maple trees. These habitats offer outstanding protection for a diversity of wildlife—including songbirds, small mammals and a wealth of insects.

In spring, look for migrating songbirds in the forest and listen for calling amphibians in the wetlands. Search for beautiful fall wildflowers in late summer and early autumn.

Currently there is a 1/2 mile loop trail for hikers to enjoy. The trail is marked with orange blazes. The trailhead can be found at the western edge of the parking lot. In the future, hiking trails will link to the adjacent Plainsboro Preserve.

Size: 159 Acres
