If you are looking for a full- or part-time permanent job, Middlesex County may be able to help you at its Fall Job Fair, hosted by the County’s Office of Workforce Development.

The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14 at the Old Bridge Municipal Complex,
1 Old Bridge Plaza, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.

Businesses from various in-demand employment sectors including Advanced Manufacturing, Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail and Hospitality, Information Technology and Transportation Logistics and Distribution will be on-site accepting resumes and applications for a wide range of career opportunities.

The job fair also will feature a Resume Review Table, where Career Counselors will evaluate resumes and provide tips on conducting an effective job search.

The event is being coordinated to assist Middlesex County residents who are unemployed or underemployed.  Businesses will conduct on-site interviews while seeking qualified candidates for the job openings that exist within their organizations.

Job seekers are encouraged to bring an ample supply of resumes and be dressed to impress.

“The Office of Workforce Development assists local businesses with identifying qualified job seekers for various employment opportunities, ranging from entry-level positions to higher skilled jobs.” said Middlesex County Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios.

“This event enables county residents to showcase their qualifications to multiple employers at one venue,” said Freeholder Kenneth Armwood, Chair of the Business Development and Education Committee.

The Office of Workforce Development hosts several job fairs throughout Middlesex County each year. In addition, the office provides training and employment programs to unemployed and underemployed residents through funding from the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014. The office operates two Career One Stop Centers at 550 Jersey Ave. in New Brunswick and at 161 New Brunswick Ave. in Perth Amboy.

The Fall Job Fair is co-sponsored by the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders, The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Old Bridge Township and The Middlesex County Workforce Development Board.
