Below are official results for the 2020 General Election as certified on November 20, 2020.

In accordance with state law, P.L. 2020, C.72, the 2020 General Election has been mainly conducted by Mail-In Ballot, with a limited number of polling places open where voters were able to cast their ballot in person using a provisional ballot, or by accessing an ADA device.

P.L. 2020, C.72 also allowed for ballots postmarked on or before November 3, 2020 and received by the Board of Elections within 7 days to be considered valid and to be canvassed.  To account for the increase in mail-in and provisional ballots, and to provide the County Board of Elections sufficient time to process the returned ballots, P.L. 2020 C.72 suspended N.J.S.A. C.19:63-18, allowing for the continuation of the counting of ballots beyond close of polls on November 3, 2020.  Per P.L. 2020 C.72, the results of the November 2020 General Election shall be certified by the County Board of Canvassers on or before November 20, 2020.
