MCFOODS holds several events throughout the year to drive awareness of food insecurity and generate food and funds to help us achieve our mission.
The annual “Walk to End Hunger,” annual “Dine Below the Line” hunger awareness dinner, and periodic Dine to Donate events held at local restaurants are all in partnership with Feeding Middlesex County.
MCFOODS coordinates an annual Spring School Food Drive in partnership with all Middlesex County public and private schools. Each year, this is our largest single food drive
Hunger Action Month activities are planned each September including a calendar of “30 Ways in 30 Days” that lists activities you can take part in to raise awareness, volunteer or donate to help fight food insecurity in the County. See the MCFOODS event calendar here.
The Monroe Township Fall Harvest Food Drive is held during the month of October in each of the active adult communities with the support of the Monroe Township Department of Public Works.
Specific information on each event will be posted here as they become available
