From operating out of a small closet in 1994, to running a 5,000 sq. ft. warehouse today, MCFOODS and their network continue to battle food insecurity across the County’s 25 towns. They have distributed nearly 12.7 million pounds of food to more than 120 food pantries, soup kitchens, and social service agencies, supporting those in need throughout Middlesex County.
In honor of the program’s success, the Board of Chosen Freeholders and the State Assembly recently awarded MCFOODS with resolutions. Additionally, Feeding Middlesex County held a celebratory dinner to recognize MCFOODS contributions to the community over the last quarter of a century. (see photos below)
MCFOODS extends gratitude to all volunteers and staff who have given their time, energy and talents over the last 25 years. Without them, none of this would be possible.
