The Office of the Purchasing Agent is responsible for purchasing goods and services to carry out the functions of Middlesex County government in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey. The Office of the Purchasing Agent facilitates best practices in the procurement of goods and services necessary for effective and efficient operations and to ensure that such goods and services represent the best value, quality and timely delivery. These functions are performed in accordance with New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A 40A:11-1 et seq.
Through our purchasing portal, businesses can register to automatically be informed on bidding opportunities with Middlesex County. Also once registered, vendors can download current bid and proposal specifications, stay up to date with the purchasing process and track past awards.
