The mission of the Coalition is to work to strengthen partnerships to help our residents become healthier through education, screening, and advocacy for the prevention of disease.     We are a New Jersey grant-funded program and our core goals are to implement evidence-based strategies of the NJ Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan statewide via Regional Chronic Disease Coalitions.   We also strive to institute Policy, Environmental, and System (PES) change strategies that promote health equity as it relates to cancer control and prevention of other chronic diseases by supporting  early detection activities.      

 

Over the course of July 1st and September 30th 2017, the Coalition will work to accomplish these goals by implementing three interventions within Middlesex and Union Counties, including:
