2017 Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Days are scheduled on the following dates from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m, unless otherwise noted.   This service is provided for Middlesex County residents only, free of charge.   

 
Sunday, March 19, 2017        Middlesex County College, Edison
Saturday, May 20, 2017         Middlesex County Division of Highways, North Brunswick
Friday, July 21, 2017              Piscataway Vo-Tech (12pm - 6pm)
Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017       Woodbridge Department of Public Works
Sunday, October 15, 2017     Old Bridge Department of Public Works
Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017           Middlesex County College, Edison

 

Acceptable Items: Adhesives, Aerosol Cans, Anti-Freeze, Brake Fluid, Car Batteries, Cleaners, Drain Cleaners, Florescent Bulbs, Gasoline, Gas/Oil Mix, Kerosene, Lighter Fluid, Mercury, Motor Oil/Filters, Paints (Latex/Oil), Paint Thinner, Pesticides/Herbicides, Photographic Chemicals, Pool Chemicals, Propane Tanks, Stains/Varnishes, Thermometers, Thermostats.

Rechargeable & Button Cell Batteries (individually bag each battery or tape each terminal end prior to transport).  Alkaline batteries can disposed of in regular trash.

 Non-acceptable Items: Appliances/Furniture, Electronics, Empty Containers, Explosives and Munitions, Infectious/Medical Waste, Smoke Detectors, Tires.

Please, no containers over 10 gallons.
