From Garden State Parkway:
Take the Garden State Parkway North to exit 129. Look for the New Jersey Turnpike North/I95 signs. Take the New Jersey Turnpike North to Exit 12 toward Carteret/Rahway. Bear left at toll booth. Take Rt. 1 to I-287 North (Somerville). Take the exit for Route 529/Dunellen. Merge onto Stelton Road (Route 529). Go straight through 3 lights. After passing a gas station on the left, turn left and stay on Stelton Road. (Do not follow Route 529). Go through one light. At the second light (end of road) turn left onto Lakeview Avenue.  Almost immediately the road bears to the right. You are now on New Market Road. Just after passing a school on the left (at a triangle), turn left onto Grove Street. Go through one light and follow until the road turns into South Avenue (Harry’s Deli on right). Go two blocks down and turn left onto Hall Street.  Dunellen Public Works is at the end of Hall Street on the left.

From the South:
Take Route 130 North. After passing the sign for the Middlesex County Adult Corrections facility on the right, bear right onto Old Georges Road at the sign for Maple Meade. Pass the Church Lane Plaza on the left and turn right onto Church Lane. Follow Church Lane until it ends and turn left onto Dunhams Corner Road. The Reclamation Center will be on the left.
OR
Take Cranbury/South River Road (Route 535 North) and turn left onto Dunhams Corner Road.   After passing the Crystal Springs Aquatic Center on the right, look for the Reclamation Center on the left, just past Church Lane.

Take I-287 South. Near where I-287 becomes Route 440, take the exit to get onto Route 514 West (toward Bonhamtown and Raritan Center). Travel approximately 2 miles and turn left onto Mill Road, passing the County College on the left. Once on Mill Road, travel to the first traffic light and turn left into the College entrance. Follow the signs, obeying traffic cones and barricades.
From the South:
Take Route 1 North. Shortly after crossing the Raritan River, take the exit for Woodbridge Avenue (514 East). Once merged onto 514, follow for approximately 2 miles. Bear right at the sign for Mill Road/Middlesex County College. Once on Mill Road, travel to the next traffic light and turn left into the College entrance. Follow the signs, obeying traffic cones and barricades.

Take Route 18 to Route 615 South. Route 615 is also known as Bordentown Avenue / Main Street.  Follow Main Street into Spotswood. Stay on Main Street for about 1.5 miles until the road splits. Bear left staying on 615 South (green street sign at fork says Manalapan Rd). Continue for just under 2 miles and turn left at the Helmetta Municipal Building. Paint Recycling site is behind Borough Hall.
From the West:
Take Route 130 to Church Lane (via Georges Road). Follow Church Lane east until it intersects with Dunhams Corner Road and turn right. Follow Dunhams Corner Road until it turns into Helmetta Boulevard (at traffic light). Continue until Helmetta Boulevard merges with Lake Avenue bearing left at the fork. Make the first right at stop sign (continuing on Lake Avenue) and proceed to Main Street. At Main Street turn right and travel about 100 feet to the Helmetta Municipal Building on the left. Paint Recycling site is behind Borough Hall.

From the South:
Take Route 27 North. Once in Metuchen (going under I 287), make a left at traffic light onto Bridge Street. Follow until the end and make a right at the light onto New Durham Road. Make next immediate left at a light onto John Street. Follow until the end and make a right at the stop sign onto Durham Avenue.  Follow for a short distance and after the large bend toward the left, make the next left onto Jersey Avenue.  Go to the end of the street and the Public Works office will be on the right.

Go through 2 lights and at the 3rd light turn left onto Mountain Avenue.  Go about 5 blocks and turn right onto Monroe Avenue just before Municipal Building and continue straight to the Recycling Center and follow the one way signs.
From the East:
Take Route 28 (Bound Brook Road) west and once in Middlesex turn left onto Mountain Avenue. Turn left into the Municipal Building parking lot and continue straight to the Recycling Center and follow the one way signs.

Take NJ Turnpike exit 8A or Rt. 130 to Forsgate Drive (County Rt. 612) and head east towards Jamesburg. At the end of Forsgate Dr. turn right onto Buckelew Ave. (County Rt. 522). Travel for about 2 miles and turn right onto Spotswood/Gravel Hill Road (near  Monroe Twp. water tower on left). Go through one stop sign and after going over the railroad tracks, turn left into the Monroe Public Works.

From the North:
Take the NJ Turnpike South to exit 9 or take Route 1 South to Route 18 North. Follow Route 18 North into New Brunswick and take the exit for Route 27 South/Princeton (or simply follow Route 27 South).   Merge onto Route 27 which is also called Albany Street. Make sure you are in the left lane before reaching the 4th light at the New Brunswick train station. Continue going straight. At the 6th light, Route 27 turns into French Street. Before reaching the 8th light, bear left onto Jersey Avenue (at the white clock tower). There will immediately be a light. Continue going straight and follow Jersey Avenue for just under 1 mile. Turn left into the second driveway for the New Brunswick Public Works.
From the South:
Take Route 1 North. Take the exit for New Brunswick via Jersey Avenue.  Follow Jersey Avenue for approximately 2.5 miles (you will go through 1 light). Turn right into the first driveway for the New Brunswick Public Works.
OR
Take Route 130 North. Cross over Route 1 onto Georges Road. At the 1st light turn left onto Hermann Road. Follow Hermann Road through 1 light. At the 2nd light turn left onto Livingston Avenue.  Go through 1 light. At the 2nd light turn right onto How Lane (right turn only). Go over the bridge and turn right at the light onto Jersey Avenue.  Travel just over 1 mile and turn right into the first driveway for the New Brunswick Public Works.

From the South:
Take Route 130 North. After entering North Brunswick, continue for approximately 1 mile, and turn right onto Apple Orchard Lane toward the Adult Correctional Facility. The Highways Division is the second building on the left, after Youth Services. Make a left turn and continue going straight, following the traffic cones and direction signs.

Take Route 18 South (toward East Brunswick) past Brunswick Square Mall. Take exit for Matawan/Route 516 East. Follow Route 516 East for approximately 3 miles. After passing the interchange for Route 9, go less than 1/4 mile, the Municipal Center will be on the left. Make a left into the second driveway.  For the paint program, once in complex make another left to get to the Public Works yard.

Follow the signs for Smith St., bearing left toward Keasbey.  Continue on Smith Street  for approximately 2 miles to Route 35/Convery Boulevard and turn left.  Travel to the first light and make a left onto Fayette Street.  The Public Works Yard is at the end of the street.
From Route 9 / Route 35: Take Route 9 North to Route 35 North. Stay in the right lane following signs for Route 35 North and go around the circle. Stay right and take the Route 35 Victory Bridge across the river. Turn left at the second light onto Fayette Street, the Public Works Yard is at the end of the road.

From Route 287: Take Route 287 and exit at South Randolphville Road (Exit 7). If coming off Route 287 South, make a left at the end of the exit ramp onto South Randolphville Road.  If coming off Route 287 North, make right at end of the exit ramp onto South Randolphville Road. At the intersection where South Randolphville Road turns left stay straight to Behmer Road. Take 1st left onto Sidney road and proceed to the Little League Park entrance on the left.

Take Route 1 South to Scudders Mill Road/Plainsboro exit (use jug handle right after light). Cross over Route 1 and follow Scudders Mill Road through 4 lights. At the 5th light turn right onto Dey Road.  At the stop sign cross over onto Edgemere Avenue.  Continue straight and at the next stop sign, turn left onto Maple Avenue. Follow Maple Avenue until the next traffic light and turn left onto Grovers Mill Road.  Travel about 1 mile and after the sharp bend in the road, turn left at the sign for the Plainsboro Township Conservation Recycling Center. Travel down the power line access road and turn right at the first driveway into the Conservation Center.
From Route 130:
Take Route 130 South. After passing Cranbury Station (restaurant) turn right at the next light onto Dey Road. Travel on Dey Road for approximately 4.5 miles. Continue going straight through 2 traffic lights until you reach a stop sign where Dey Road turns into Edgemere Avenue. Continue straight and at the next stop sign, turn left onto Maple Avenue. Follow Maple Avenue until the next traffic light and turn left onto Grovers Mill Road. Travel about 1 mile and after the sharp bend in the road, turn left at the sign for the Plainsboro Township Conservation Recycling Center. Travel down the power line access road and turn right at the first driveway into the Conservation Center.

From the East:
Take Route 18 South to Route 615 North (Bordentown Avenue); exit is also for Route 527. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Route 615 North, also called Main Street. Stay on Main Street which turns into Bordentown Avenue. Go through the traffic light at Jernee Mill Road. Make a left into Fort Grumpy.

Turn right opposite Reichier Park into the Recycling Center (behind the skateboard park).
From the East:
Take Route 130 to Route 522 West. Go through three traffic lights (approximately 2.5 miles). Turn right into the Municipal Complex. Follow the road past the Municipal Building and Public Works building. Turn right opposite Reichier Park into the Recycling Center (behind the skateboard park).

Take I-287 North and take the Durham Avenue/South Plainfield Exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp bear right and merge onto Durham Avenue. Go through 1 light. Bear right at the 2nd light and proceed over the bridge (you are now on Hamilton Boulevard). Continue straight until the next light and turn right (right turn only lane) onto Belmont Avenue. Travel just under a half a mile and turn right onto Kenneth Avenue (opposite the Public Works Department). Continue going straight on Kenneth Avenue past the James W. Conroy Memorial field on the left. The recycling center will be on the right.
From the West:
Take Route 28 to Route 529 South (Washington Avenue). Travel about 1 mile. After crossing over New Market Pond, turn left onto Lakeview Avenue (which turns into New Market Avenue). Proceed through 3 lights. At the fourth light, turn right onto Hamilton Boulevard. Follow Hamilton Boulevard until the 1st light and turn left onto Belmont Avenue. Travel just under a half a mile and turn right onto Kenneth Avenue (opposite the Public Works Department). Continue going straight on Kenneth Avenue past the James W. Conroy Memorial Field on the left. The recycling center will be on the right.

Take I-287 South to exit 5 (Edison) turn left at end of ramp onto Stelton Road. Take the first right onto Hamilton Boulevard. At the second light, turn left to stay on Hamilton Boulevard. Travel through two additional traffic lights to Maple Avenue. Turn right onto Maple Avenue and proceed to the P.A.L. building approximately ¾ mile on your right.

Take Route 18 to Main Street/Route 535. Travel just under 1 mile and turn right onto Jackson Street. Follow Jackson and turn right onto Whitehead Avenue. Follow Whitehead Avenue for about 1.2 miles and turn left onto Ivan Way.

From Rt. 18: Take Route 18 to Route 615 South towards Spotswood. Route 615 is also called Main Street. Follow for just over 1 mile and make a sharp right turn onto Summerhill Road (Route 613). Make a left into the High School Driveway on left just past Municipal Building.

From the South:
Take either Route 1 North or NJ Turnpike North to exit 10 and get onto Route 440 N. (east) toward Staten Island. (I-287 South becomes Route 440 North). Take the exit for Smith St./Riverside Dr./Fords. Follow the signs for Smith Street, bearing left toward Keasbey. Go through one light. Get into the right lane and turn right at the yellow sign onto the access road for Woodbridge Public Works, between bridge overpasses. Go down the hill toward the river and turn right, toward the Public Works yard. See guard for unloading instructions.
From the South:
Take Route 9 North to Route 35 North. Stay in the right lane following signs for Route 35 North and go around the circle. Stay right and take the Route 35 Victory Bridge across the river. Turn left at the first light onto Smith Street. Travel less than 1 mile and stay in the left lane. Just after passing under the bridges, take the left lane U-turn. Immediately get into the right lane and turn right at the yellow sign onto the access road for Woodbridge Public Works, between bridge overpasses. Go down the hill toward the river and turn right toward the Public Works yard. See guard for unloading instructions.
