 CRS/MS4 User Group Meeting -- May 4, 2018
Please join us Friday, May 4, 2018 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and noon at the Middlesex County Fire Academy, 1001 Fire Academy Drive, Sayreville, NJ 08872 for a CRS/MS4 User Group Information Meeting.
This second free seminar is an invitation to all Middlesex County municipalities to become more familiar with the wealth of assistance available to help you create your municipal blueprint for building a more adaptive and resilient community in the face of more extreme weather patterns in New Jersey. Learn about a new opportunity to develop regional resiliency for flood-impacted towns in Middlesex County to be offered by NJDEP in coming months. Get the latest news on the adopted municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) regulations required for all New Jersey municipalities. Hear about revegetation efforts to enhance Blue Acres acquisitions and green stormwater management measures applicable to both CRS and MS4 goals. Network with our county team to assist your CRS and MS4 compliance efforts.
Sponsored by the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders, and supported by the Office of Emergency Management and Office of Planning, this workshop is the second of our regular updates on CRS and stormwater management. Your input in the Q & A sessions following each speaker will help us chart a course for County assistance in these areas.
