The George J. Otlowksi, Sr. Center for Mental Health Care continues to provide its high quality mental health services to the County's residents via tele-health platforms during this time of crisis. The Center has over 50 years of experience in providing mental health services and employs over 45 licensed professional mental health clinicians (e.g.: psychiatrists, advanced practice nurses, and therapists) ready to meet the County's mental health needs. Our Outpatient department offers individual and group psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults and seniors via tele-health platforms in addition to chronically mentally ill adults via virtual groups and individual sessions in our Partial Care program. At this time, the wait for an intake appointment for a new client is less than a week and the wait for a psychiatric appointment for an active client at the Center is less than 2 weeks. We know these are very difficult times for everyone, and that many people are struggling. If you or someone you know is in need of additional support, please don't hesitate to call us at 732-442-1666 ext. 2089.

The George J. Otlowski, Sr. Center for Mental Health Care is a comprehensive community mental health center sponsored by the Middlesex County Board of County Commissioners. The Center has an Outpatient Department, Partial Care Program and Medical Unit. We offer treatment for a wide range of emotional disorders, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, marital and family issues and other problems of daily living. The center serves Middlesex County residents ages 5 and up. Our staff are experienced mental health and substance abuse professionals, including social workers, psychologists, professional counselors, rehabilitation counselors, psychiatrists and nurses.

Mental health treatment generally involves individual, group, couples and/or family counseling/psychotherapy. For some clients, medication may also be helpful. In order to be a client at our Center, you must take part in individual and/or group therapy. Client cannot initially be seen at the Center for medication management only.
Our Adult Partial Care program offers services five days a week for clients who require more intensive outpatient treatment.
