Vote By Mail
Here’s how it works:
Apply to let the County Clerk know you would like a mail-in ballot.
If you are a registered voter who hasn’t already chosen to vote by mail in every election, you will be receiving a Vote By Mail application in the mail automatically that you can send back to us!
Other options, especially if you have just recently registered to vote:
Download the application from our website, print and fill it out, then mail it to the Middlesex County Clerk’s office.
Make an appointment to visit the County Administration Building to apply in person at the Clerk’s office.
Call the County Clerk’s office to request a printed application be mailed to you. Fill it out and send the application back.
Visit your municipal clerk’s office to get an application.
DEADLINES FOR VOTE BY MAIL APPLICATIONS:
Apply by mail: October 26, 2021
Apply in person: November 1, 2021 by 3 pm
Mail-In Ballots for the General Election will start being sent to voters on September 18, 2021. If you do not receive your ballot by October 4, 2021, you can request a replacement ballot from the County Clerk’s office by calling 732-745-4202 or by sending a replacement ballot request form.
Once you receive your ballot in the mail, fill it out and choose the candidates you want to vote for.

Early Voting will take place from October 23 through October 31, 2021 at several locations in Middlesex County.

Election Day Voting
On Election Day, November 2, 2021, you can vote at your assigned polling location only. Polls will be open from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm.
