You may not be aware of it, but many Middlesex County municipalities and Schools use the athletic fields and courts in our County parks to conduct their sports programs. In providing these sites for their use, we are able to extend the opportunity to participate in organized sports to the largest possible number of our County's residents. If you are interested in finding out what team sports programs are available through your municipality, please call your local recreation department
Freeholders' Youth Basketball Tournament
The Office of Parks and Recreation holds a youth basketball tournament each March. This annual tournament, which is held at the Middlesex County Vocational School in Piscataway, has been a great hit with the County's young athletes.
Slow-Pitch Softball League
The Middlesex County Office of Parks and Recreation offers adult slo-pitch softball leagues in both the spring and the fall.
