Park Advisory - All park events and picnics are currently suspended until April 30, 2020. Parks and open space will remain open to the public for passive recreation, including roads, parking areas, trails, lakes and other open space areas. However, restrooms, comfort stations, playgrounds, dog parks, basketball and tennis courts, the flying field, and similar facilities are closed until further notice in order to protect public health and safety. We ask that the public practice social distancing and refrain from large groups while enjoying our parks and open spaces.

In 2003, the County acquired this 97 acre property located along Omar and Rahway Avenues, at the headwaters of the Woodbridge River. The purchase of this property through the Open Space Trust Fund saved the site from being developed into warehouses, for which the land is zoned. The property is managed as the Earnest L. Oros Wildlife Preserve, through a co-operative agreement with Woodbridge Township and the non-profit Woodbridge River Watch
