Many of our developed parks have facilities to offer fun recreational activities requiring a permit or pass. Permits must be issued for all organized group activities. Tennis courts do NOT require reservations and are available on a first come / first served basis. Children under 12 years of age MUST be accompanied by an ADULT. However, after 7:00pm between May 1st and October 29th, anyone who wishes to play on a court that has lights must be in possession of a tennis court pass. Children under 12 years of age must have a pass and can recieve one free of charge from the reservation desk. Each individual must have a tennis pass and it must be visable when playing. A tennis pass does not reserve court time. When others are waiting, courts times are limited: singles 1 hour, doubles 2 hours. All lights go off at 10:00pm.
To obtain an evening tennis play pass for the season which is between May 1 and October 29 each year, the following information must be provided by mail or in person: completed application, payment, proof of residency for each applicant, and proof of age for students or seniors ages 60+. Proof of residency can be copy of drivers license or a bill with your address. Proof of age for a student can be a government ID or a school ID. Your pass will be mailed to you within ten days only to the address you have entered on your application. If a permit is lost in the mail, we will not issue a new one - you must pay for a new permit. We are proud to announce that we now offer year-round tennis play at many of our parks. From November 1st to April 30th, you can use the tennis courts at the following locations without a tennis pass as conditions permit. Winter Tennis Play is avaliable at Roosevelt Park

Donaldson Park Boat Ramp
You can get a permit to use the Boat Ramp in Donaldson Park located in Highland Park to launch your boat into the Raritan River. This season pass allows you to use the ramp and park your vehicle and trailer in our parking lot for the year. Our yearly season begins each year on May 1st. There is a dock avaliable for use with your permit from May through October (weather permitting).

Edison Park Flying Field
To obtain a yearly flying field permit for the field in Thomas Edison Park located in Edison Township, the following information must be provided by mail or in person: completed application, photocopy of driver’s license, photocopy of AMA card, photocopy of FAA registration, phone number, a list of any clubs you may be affiliated with, and payment.

By mail, we accept a check or money order. In person, we accept a check, money order, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. NO CASH OR AMERICAN EXPRESS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Checks and money orders can be made payable to the "Middlesex County Treasurer."

PLEASE NOTE: If
you had a Deer Management Permit for the 2017-18 season, but DID NOT RETURN your Harvest
Report, you are not eligible to receive a 2018-2019 Permit.
