A summer theater program for children and teens.

An update on our 2020 season...

To our Plays-in-the-Park Family –

Like the rest of the world, Middlesex County continues to grapple with the Covid-19 virus and its’ effects on all facilities and programming. To that end, the County has decided it best for the safety of our audiences, actors and staff alike, to forego a summer season this year at Plays-in-the-Park. So, all three shows – Something Rotten!, Cinderella and A Chorus Line will all be moved to Summer 2021 and we look forward to seeing you all there! We will make sure to update the website with all of the audition information as soon as we make it available.

The County has also decided it best not to run our summer theather workshops for kids; Kids-in-the-Park and Teens-in-the-Park. We can't wait to see all your kids back in 2021!

Plays-in-the-Park does hope to present some exciting virtual workshops this summer, so stay tuned for more information!!

Plays-in-the-Park's proud offspring, Kids-in-the-Park, is a summer program offered to children entering grades 4-7. The two-week session concludes with a final theater production! Participants have a choice of one of three 2-week sessions held at the William Warren Park amphitheater in Woodbridge/Perth Amboy.
